The Delver of the Cryptic event in Arknights: Endfield is the kind of break you don't know you needed until you're in it, and if you're juggling the tech test grind you might even look up Arknights endfield boosting so you can spend more time on puzzles instead of repeating story fights. That's the route into the maze proper, where the corridors start repeating and the game begins testing whether you're paying attention or just sprinting on autopilot.

As you push deeper, you'll spot a number pattern showing up in the environment: 2-1-3-2-3. It doesn't look dramatic, and that's the trap. You'll think, "Yeah, I'll remember that," then ten minutes later you won't. Write it down if you have to. That sequence is the key for the numbered door stretch later, and the punishment for guessing is instant: one wrong door and you're kicked back to the start of that sequence, forced to run it again with your patience a little thinner.

Before the door sequence, there's a platforming section with floors that switch between safe and not-safe. Treat it like rhythm more than parkour. Pause, watch a cycle, then move. Rushing is how you drop and have to redo the whole bit. Along the way, keep an eye out for three storage crates. The first two are basically on the main line: one after a corridor puzzle, another after the jumping segment. The third crate is the sneaky one. When you're about to follow what feels like the "correct" path, take a left and step into a portal that pops you onto an upper floor, then grab the extra loot before you continue.

The last stretch is a laser-lined hallway where timing matters more than bravery. Slide when the gaps open, jump clean, and don't panic-correct mid-move. Once you clear it, the rewards feel earned: Oroberyl, T-Creds, and protohedrons, plus the satisfaction of solving something that isn't just combat stats.
